My guiding principles

These will form the grounding on which I base my decisions while in office.
1. Schools are schools, not parents.  Parents are parents.

2. The purpose of a school is to educate the students.  All else is a distraction.

3. The first priority of a school is the safety of its students.​

About me

I am a lifelong Christian and an always faithful Marine.  The Marine Corps brought me to Yuma.  It's here that I met and married my lovely wife of 33 years.  Together, we've raised three amazing kids.  We are enjoying watching our two granddaughters discover the world.  I have served this great community as an educator for over 25 years.  In that time, I have taught at every level from kindergarten to the community college.
